I think that we do in one way, but that it needs to be specialised into
certain area.  In the same way that an envirionmental group should not have
a policy on (for instance) education - except where it affects education - I
do not think that 'transhumanists' should have policies except where they
affect technology and directly affect transhumanism.

The geat success of the green parties of the 1970's was not that they gained
some votes and (in some cases) became major political parties, but that they
managed to add 'green policies' to the political agenda of all the
mainstream parties.

I believe that any transhumanist political agenda must be geared towards
adding transhumanist policies to mainstream politics, so that no matter
which party you follow (and we have members of the left and right here) you
have transhumanist options.  We must show that transhumanism _transcends_
political lines.
